55th Midwest Solid State Conference
University of Iowa April 18-19
The University of Iowa will host the 55th Midwest Solid State
Conference on April 18 and 19, 2009, in the Iowa Memorial Union and
Iowa Advanced Technology Laboratories. The conference will begin at
8:30am Saturday April 18 and conclude Sunday early afternoon April 19.
The oral presentations will begin with a combined plenary session on
Saturday morning, and continue with two parallel oral sessions
consisting of invited talks and a few poster submissions selected for
oral presentation.
Poster abstracts should be submitted on this website, and the deadline
for submission of poster abstracts is March 30. Posters will be
displayed throughout the conference. No oral talks will be scheduled
during a block of time Saturday afternoon which is reserved for poster
viewing only.
A banquet will be held Saturday evening, April 18, at the University
Club. Transportation from the conference site to the University Club
and back will be provided by the conference.
